MOOHAH.

got an M5 and Arc Flash en route (thanks Avondongle!), Robot Factory Brain Freeze (Ed's tha MAN) and just got in the Source BEF Pro and Adam's Cubic.


tonight and tomorrow are just noise noise NOISE times. WOOT.

HERE: Roland RE-20 Space Echo and EHX Freeze Sound Sustainer: been playing some fun delay swells/organ swells/ fun drone for about 3 hours now! Love this combo! BUT the Freeze is slowly reminding me why I got rid of it...

COMING: Earthquaker Devices Grand Orbiter Phase Machine: has a place AFTER POG2 but BEFORE both of my delays for fun phasing/vibrato madness!

Okay, initial impression:

This thing is completely awesome!

It does the Chroma-type chorus quite well when set moderately, and there's still loads of flexibility without going haywire and getting alien-type sounds. It can do that too mind you. Kinda freaked me out when I turned it on the first time and expected a space ship outside my window. :p

I've mostly played through this thing without engaging the LFO and the shimmer and sparkle of this pedal really amazes me. Totally useful in many different situations, and between the filter control and the separate volume controls, I suspect it's nearly impossible to get lost in a mix.

Off to play some more! :hyper:

lol. THAT is a lot of gear. kudos. you got some FUN times ahead meng.

i....... am enjoying the Source BEF Pro. 's very different than the Xerograph, neat compliment to it. haven't set up the Hot Hand yet, but the layout on the back is a little annoying. if you're using a pancake head style plug than it pushes the Hot Hand receiver a bit. i don't like that. makes me worried it's going to hurt the receiver over time. we'll see.

off for foods. then more playing. woot!

i just did a setup that i'm SO FREAKING HAPPY WITH. sigh. and i have 3 delicious things headed in. DAMN IT.

so, we were JUST talking about this on another forum. i see the beauty in big ass beat up MONSTER PEDALS. so much history, so much funk, so damn DIRRRRRRRRTY. i get it.

........ but i could never do that. i struggle to not go out and buy a PT-Pro to jam MORE lootz on my board.

you are a commendable individual Giant Pedally Sir.

I think there was a moment today where I freaking forgot what I have coming in. I've been saying this for a while....you guys are a bad influence. :D


Incoming: 12v adapter for the Darkglass B3K and three HOSA CSS-103RR for the EXPRESSIONATOR!!!

So far....Swell B-TOD is winning the battle for my OD pedal. This adapter might turn the tide in the B3K's favor.

Pancakes and the source audio pedals DO NOT MIX. I tried to jam them into my MWBD and they got stuck. You need cables with smaller form factors for those pedals. Overall, that is a good thing because giant cables are bad news for pedal boards and top mounted jacks are always sweet sweet tatties.
