Just in: JHS 4 Wheeler. yes yes yes. Clone of Whooly Mammoth that likes actives, tons of low end.
CBread Merkin no. maybe my line is too hot, looses too much low end. Took a chance it would be another like Fuzzhugger Arc Flash, but no.
Mellowtone Wolf Computer. yes yes yes. amazing in a blend. as a result of Mellowtone, Goodby Year 4545 with the wonderful paint job, unstable fun controls and too much hiss. DE Dark Boost into blended Wolf is just amazing.

In: Catalinbread Formula No. 5.
Pending: Review of said pedal, with the usual andvari7 flair
Likely to Occur: illness, resulting from my consumption of my first homebrewed beer. It did NOT turn out well. Or, since it was the bottom of the fermenter, it could be the bad one in the batch.

^ooh! What bass didga get?

GONE: MicroCrusher, fuzz clone, custom micro loop for Jeff!
COMING: Strymon El Capistan, Basic Audio Squarewave, Fairfield Unpleasant Surprise, Sonic Research ST-200
GOING: Perhaps one of those fuzzes, Korg Pitchblack (she has served me well!!), possibly my FreqBox.

Deal isn't sealed yet, so I'm going to keep my mouth shut... but I'm excited.

so much win!

kosko, that seems like a pretty drastic change! i'm scared for you, but kind of excited

Thanks! I actaully put the order in, now is the waiting for delivery game. It's a pretty drastic change, but I'm hoping the VT bass will make the sound be colored enough to sound good through the PA. I"m not too demanding tone wise, so I think it'll be a win. I'm all about minimalism where it's applicable.

Now time to make the pianist, harmonica-ist?, and viola-ist? realize they don't need an amp either.

Coming: strymon timeline and bluesky reverberator, wren & cuff TFR, IE cygnet, TAFM, and me when they finally all get here!

Going: grey stache, brown dog, fulltone bass drive MOSFET (which all happen to be listed in the classifieds right now!).

I've basically been going through lots of dirt pedals and hopefully (but probably not) I'll finally be happy with my dirt situation :) now its time to move on to some more fun sounding pedals...like the timeline!

MXR's new Bass series stuff is damn good.

lol. sooooooo....... you'd be ok endorsing somebody you didn't really dig their stuff?

i'm nowhere near having to worry about it, so i can get all High Horse and say i wouldn't.

I think you made some dirty good choices in the TFR and TAFM.. I have both and though they get a bit messy together (not necessarily a bad thing), you'll have two amazing and different fuzz flavors to choose from. If you haven't already, I highly recommend the gate mod for the TAFM. I also have a Timeline, and must say... damn nice! :bassist:
