Here:

Inbound - Saturnworks active summer.

Gone:
My left testicle and hopefully cancer from todays surgery (get yourselfs checked out friends).

Coming:
Probably a few things because drugs.
Who has a tone bypssable Bluebeard or EAE Limelight V2 they’re trying to unload.

I've heard people say "I'd give my left nut for that" but no trade seems as fair as yours. Heal quickly and F cancer

Sold an old Badger looper. Getting rid of a couple utility/expression things at the moment.
Might have gone a bit overboard on upgrading an old but great synthesizer. Got 4 expansion boards for a Korg Triton rack. Maxed out the memory. Added SCSI port. Got a replacement for the 3.5in floppy drive with an SD/USB drive. It started as a solution to software sampling, which just tends to bog down a DAW. MIDI is so much more efficient and familiar. Also, it is now all run through a ZOIA. Lots of fun.
I have a legitimate problem: Bought 6 total expansion. Boards and 3 memory boards for a Triton Rack. It is a lot.

Wow! “Limelight is a dual channel overdrive developed in collaboration with LA-based punk band Touche Amore.”

Didn’t know it existed, the TA collab, or that anyone calls TA punk. I’ve only really become aware of them this year but after initially not caring for them much I’ve come around in a big way.

Website says pedal is sold out. Better the pedal sells out than the band.

Is it known to be good on bass?

It’s odd that TA is described as punk. I’d probably call them post-hardcore.

The Limelight is infrequently made and always sells out, and often sells used for a higher price than it is new.

I sprung for this one because it was a solid deal, have been enjoying bluesbreaker style circuits, it gets great reviews, and am curious about EAE.

I don’t have high hopes that it will be great on bass, I plan to use it on guitar as that’s become my main instrument and what I play in my band. Still looking forward to see how it functions on bass.

I got a brand new Geddy Lee YYZ Shape-Shifter on its way— just shipped today. Didn’t even know they were out yet lol.
Seller on Reverb even knocked $50 off..
Glad I held off on snagging an MP40 huzzah to meeee :bassist:

How are you liking the additional features on the shape shifter, especially the boost? I'm hoping to use the pedal always-on with subtle breakup, and wondering if engaging the boost is usable in the band mix for a more moderate distortion. Like if the volume changes too much, too much bass is lost etc and you have to adjust the dials.

To be fair, post-hardcore is short for post-hardcore punk. But, yeah, definitely not punk in the 'original' sense. The Limelight is great, though. I own a V. 1 and I dig it. Works quite well on bass, too, if you ask me. But YMMV, as always. Enjoy it. :)

I just ran across your post and wanted to wish you well with your health issues. Although I don't know you, I have the strongest feeling you have a secure handle on your recovery. Think strong. As you know, there is much to be said about the healing powers of music. All my best.
