Whats Coming & Going Thread Pt. Fife! V

It won't work...it's a lost cause...the only option is to dispose of the Casady and, in a public display of TB brotherhood, I hereby volunteer to take the offending instrument off your hands. I'll even waive the normal service charge (more of the 'brotherhood' bit there) 'cause that's how I roll.

I'll do my normal 24 hours turnaround with the pedal if it doesn't work (and you're right, it probably won't).

Something intrigues me with the Casady though, since it's a hollow body and is great for playing acoustic in the house...not that I'm a jam band hippie or anything...not that there's anything wrong with that...

What's your rig?

I only ask because I'm using a Casady with a Supercollider, and I don't seem to have the same problem with resonance that you do.

Then again, it could just be that I'm experiencing the exact same thing, and not being bothered by it. One man's trash, etc.

Coming: Either a real or a COSM Space echo.
Going: Potentially my entire "fun" board--Whammy, Bassballs, Blue Box, and TR-2.

Recently Arrived: Custom SFX High Performance Splitter and ABY Switcher, both 5million ohm input impedance, lovely. Pigtronix Philosopher's Tone- good but we'll see if I end up having a reason to keep it or not. And lastly, my favourite, the FEA Labs Dual Band Optical Compressor (post make-it-work-better-with-other-pedals op).

Coming: Ashdown Dual Band Compressor (second one I've owned), JHS Pedals-Fortified APhex Bass Xciter.

Going (hopefully soon): EHX Knockout, EBS MultiComp, Boss LS-2

It's in my profile.
Ampeg SVT-4Pro and Emperor 2x12 1x15 at 4 ohms. As soon as the note fades out or I mute my playing, the WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO starts. Vegas/Thom had the same problem w/ his Casady. The Brassmaster had no feedback when notes are muted.

Oh, that. I love that. :p

Usually when the fuzz is on I'm not letting the notes fade out completely, so I don't tend to have that problem. If you were doing a lot of muting, or wanting to use silence, then yeah, I could see that being a real pain.

Good to hear you found a solution, as the Casady is one of the coolest sounding basses I've ever played.
