Even though they are not my favorite band (yes, I mean that). The Beatles............all of the American Lp pressings. All of the British Lp pressings. The Mobile Fidelity Half Speed Masters Lp box set. The 2009 remastered Beatles Cd stereo set. The 2009 remastered Beatles Cd mono set. Anthology I, II, III on vinyl. BBC vinyl. Colored Lp sets and a few more. OUCH! Too much Beatles!
Other than that...........about 4,000 Lps and hundreds and hundreds of Cds.
Everything from Captain Beefheart to Beethoven.
Do not own an iPod nor any down loaded music, nothing in my phone. All of my stuff is Lp or Cd.

Most of one artist? I'd have to go count them to be sure but either Miles Davis, John Coltrane or Frank Zappa.
I have a lot of different stuff: reggae, funk, 80s pop, West African, jazz, hip-hop, various electronic styles, etc. The artist I have the most material by is Level 42 (33 CDs and 17 records). In second place is 808 State (30 CDs and a handful of records).
My collection is nearly all CDs. I have over 20 albums, including two LPs by Maria Muldaur. I have nearly as many by David Friesen, also including some vinyl. I also have lots of Captain Beefheart, Jethro Tull, the Who, Studio der Fruhen Musik, Jill Jack, and Joe Jackson. Altogether, I've got between 600 & 700 CDs and about 10 LPs.
Now that I've discovered streaming, I doubt that I'll b buying much more music other than from artists who play at the Trinity House Theatre, where I am a volunteer.

I might have one of the oddest/most eclectic music library on talkbass, mainly due to the fact I listen to a ton of K-pop/K-indie, J-pop/rock/indie, Chinese rock/pop/indie, various S.E. Asian pop/rock/indie, video game/anime/movie/TV soundtracks, as well as genres like Prog rock/metal, trip-hop, industrial, goth, electronic (prog house, electro, IDM, techno, DnB, synthpop), fusion, jazz, classical, ethnic/world music, alternative, indie, folk, funk, RnB, rap, disco, rock, punk, and pop. The only genres I don't really bother with are country, gospel, and annoying self-aggrandizing rap with no intellectual substance.
I think my Sakamoto Ryuichi collection (and related groups, collaborations, soundtracks) is perhaps the largest in my library.
The genre I listen to the most in the last several years by far is K-pop/K-indie, because not only is the music so adventurous and sophisticated compared to typical western pop, utilizing a lot of advanced harmonies and melodic ideas from jazz, it also blends so many genres together (funk, RnB, soul, electronic, hip-hop, classical, jazz, rock, folk, big band, reggae, tango, bossa nova, etc.), and the entirety of K-pop also includes amazing choreography and performances in that Michael Jackson tradition that we don't see in the west anymore, as well as stunning cinematography and editing in their world-class music videos (the best in the world by far). A lot of people who never delve into K-pop only know it by the stuff that's gone viral like Psy's Gangnam Style, or BTS, but that's like naming a couple of American bands or singers and then say they represent all of music coming out of the U.S., which would of course be ridiculous and grossly inaccurate. If anyone's interested, I can put together a curated playlist of some of the very best K-pop/K-indie from the perspective of a musician.

I have several hundred old vinyl records that were mostly given to me. I have several dozen CDs of various music from old R&R, and some big band, jazz and swing to Django that I found in a box on the street. Truth is that I don't listen to music except on extremely long road trips (like going north moose hunting) when I play CDs in the truck.
That brought to mind a guy on the Acoustic Guitar Forum (AGF). His name is Brian May.

My collection isn't huge, but it's kinda odd. It's about a third to a half full of German Rap, with the rest being anything from Bluegrass to Rock to whatever the heck After Dark by Fabio is.
Mostly jazz and early rock. I have (near as I can tell) all of the jazz recordings done "Live at the Village Vanguard" in New York (LPs & CDs), 1950s to current times.
1,977 albums and 29,000+ individual tracks. Spans the gamut of genres, but, metal is the largest.
Don’t take this the wrong way, I’m really not a egotist, but my biggest collection of recordings are mostly things I worked on. Thanks to my wife, we sure have a lot of assorted Christmas recordings...lol
