Yeah I definitely didn't read that clearly enough, but hey it's 2am and I just got home from "massaging" over 200 Mercedes Benz bodies for the last 8 hours before they hit the "paint booth".To be clear, by non-export I mean every one not made for distribution outside Japan. I just got a gunmetal blue one and I'm very happy with it. I'm also happy with my black one made for American distribution (but that one's less rare and exciting).
You can get the candy apple red and dolphin gray ones for quite reasonable prices on ebay, but you have to get them shipped from Japan.
I wish I was able to play my gear late at night. If I want to practice, I have to plug into my audio interface and listen with headphones. Not a bad experience, but doesn't compare to using an amp.Yeah I definitely didn't read that clearly enough, but hey it's 2am and I just got home from "massaging" over 200 Mercedes Benz bodies before they hit the "paint booth" for the last 8 hours.
Trying to keep from turning my gear on and running through Aerosmith's Seasons of Wither. I keep telling myself, just one time through it and go to bed, it won't hurt to do that. But I know better. If I pick up the bass now, in about 3 hours I'll be asking myself what the heck happened to the time.
I can't tell you til after I get it. I don't need the competition. What's on your G.A.S list and why?
Cirrently on my G.A.S list:
Strandberg Boden - Love the headless design, dual sitting position body, and light weight.
Torzal (any model) - Fascinated by the ergonomic twisted neck/body design.
NS Design Radius CR (or) WAV (or) Ibanez Affirma - Want a fretted bass with piezo pickup.
Rob Allen Mouse - Want a short-scale fretless.
Fender Aerodyne - Light weight, fast neck, good-looking, PJ.
(You can look at my profile for currently own and previously owned basses for context.)
What about you?
