I haven't recorded using it yet but that's kind of exactly what I want it used for if I decide to keep it and use a 50T for gigging/jams. It makes a great desktop amp for that purpose from what I hear.
1. Orange Ob212 or SP212. Whatever criticisms of isobarics you have, but the guy who sold me my Warwick Tubeath 10.1 had one of those and it sounded fantastic, plus it fits in my little Audi without hassle. And it is gosh-darn loud for it's size.
2. OKKO Motörbass effect pedal because duh, it is friggin' OKKO Motörbass, that should be self-explanatory
3. Thunderbird bass (Epiphone one will suffice.) I need a backup instrument, and would like something vastly diffferent from my Fender Precision.
4. Any variant of the Ibanez Artcore Semi-hollow, because I love how thery look and really want a semi-hollow bass for I am hipster scum
5. Fender Kinsman Acoustic bass, for it looks marvelous and I need something for camping.

A nice 80s Japanese Fender. A pbass. A fretless. A Ric. A '97 robins egg blue Strat. A blonde bassman piggyback. That's about it.

i talked to a guy at Tyler amps to see if they would make just the head in an enclosure instead of the full flip top combo with the 15" and they said they have made just the head before and would do it for $1300
I really want to build a 32" scale P bass for some reason...probably because I'm really enjoying passive tones and all of my basses are active.
I would really love to try a Fender CS, stacked knob Jazz before I die. I've never seen one for less than 2K, though.
Fender American Pro Precision to round out my collection. I want the one-trick pony that is the P. I have several contemporary, dual humbuckered basses (EBMM, Ibanez, ESP) and classic single coil Rickenbacker.... so the P would be a great asset.
You know now that you mention it, maybe not a cello but i would love to have a upright bass. Good for you on down sizing! Maybe i should do the same and pick up both a Music Man Sting Ray 5, and an upright.

Dingwall ng3 is incredible bass but idk if I can justify a 2,700 dollar bass factory made in China.

Only option really is a Kiesel Zeus, and I prefer headless too. delighted with my shortscale 5 string vader also so I guess this is it. Gunna go with the Single Coils this time I think

Forget camping out, throw some short scale chromes on it, plug it in, and go to town. I've used a 2019 Kingman V2 setup that way in several gigs, running into a Keeley Compressor and GK rig, and once for a whole 4 hour gig.
Never again on the 4 hour deal though. Even though its light as a feather, the thickness of the body just isn't conducive to comfort for 4 hours standing if you're use to electrics. It's a totally different playing angle, especially for finger playing.
Lately GAS is for the amp side of things but I would say a Stingray Fretless because I love my fretted SR5 or a fretless Jazz thanks to that "Why a Jazz?" thread

An upright is a whole lotta fun for sure. Definitely recommend. Super easy to find a gig too. I'm actually a guitar player, but since I started playing UB, I haven't gigged on anything else. I still play guitar around the house and to record, but I doubt I'll ever be a gigging guitarist again. Too many opportunities on the UB, and it's just so fun to play. Chicks dig it too.... Lol.
The G&L Tribute JB in Lake Placid Blue has really caught my eye lately. My only jazz style bass is an SB-5000F, so I am still looking for a traditional 4 string J-bass.
A Fender Aerodyne P-Bass has been on my GAS list for a while. I'm a p bass fan, and love the MIJ basses. Potential lighter weight is a plus. Unfortunately, they are hard to come by.
They will have to wait, since I am waiting delivery on another GAS list bass, an early 80's G&L L-1000. I've wanted one for a while.

Well, I have the PF-5OT and want to swap it out for a V4-B. So go figure. I'll probably want to swap that one out for a SVT-CL after a year.
