I'm up to 6 snowmen, 8 small Christmas tree ornaments and 5 fancy ornaments on the lathe. Those finials are a bear! But I'm getting better at them. 
I really wish I could figure out a way to put the fan back on this little motor, it gets way too hot and is probably gonna smoke soon.

Maybe aim a portable fan at it?
All done with the Vox V125 Lead amp chassis. New tubes in and bias set. Next picture will be of it in the case and paired up with the VR212 speaker cabinet. Next to start modding the extra chassis I got for bass (the one standing up behind).
One thing I've played with (I like variable speed drive on my lathes, and that may mean the motor is running very slowly for a while, where the built-in fan, if any, won't do much) is to set up a totally separate fan (not slowed down) blowing into a duct attached to the motor. You could do that. You can even get clever and put the intake of that fan someplace where the air is relatively clean, rather than blowing all the dust from turning through the motor.
6 of the 8 ukes are finished, the last two just need strings and setup. I've got plenty of photos on my facebook page if anyone wants to see them all:

I don't think I've shared either of the rosewood ones in here yet, they both turned out pretty nice:
Here's the other one - the figure in the back is just amazing. I've never seen rosewood with curl like this:
I've got an electric guitar in the brainstorm phase after these are out of the way, and I want to get another bass going too but don't really have a concrete plan yet...

As it happens, I just did some research and placed an order for a set of the Kluson bass banjo tuners. No idea if they are what I want, but the only way to know is to get them in hand for an evaluation.
The Klusons arrived. They’re a pretty decent size, plenty big enough for bass strings. Here’s one next to a 3/8” Hipshot Ultralite for comparison:

That should work - posts are similar to Sperzel locking tuners but I've never had a bass with them so you'll have to review them.
Yeah.... This doesn't look sketchy at all. 
My lovely wife, who doesn't like all the sawdust that follows me into the house, made me a new shop apron. Even has pockets so I don't have to remember where I put that darn pencil

You know, I never thought about that until I started wood turning. Those turning aprons and smocks are kinda nice. You don't get super dirty and they add some level of protection from flying things.
