If, by "hot rod that bad boy up" you mean "put in some dirt cheap no-name Amazon 608 RS bearings" then yes, I am going to hot rod the hell out of that bad boy!
my bike shop
Do you have a good source of 608 bearings that aren't expensive? I've been buying dirt cheap no name bearings for my saw since it goes through them so quick. The lower bearings get wood dust dumped on them and it works through the seals, and they die every 3-4 weeks when the saw is getting regular use. I've thought about buying name brand bearings from a real bearing supplier but I struggle with paying $7+ each for name brand bearings when I can get cheap ones on Amazon for 70 cents each. It's hard to know if the name brand ones will be 10 times better (I kind of doubt it).
I thought you were going to say “She told me the blade on her walker was tracking terribly.”She told me the wheel was loose and she wanted me to tighten it.
Needed these also. After my wife's back surgery, she had a walker for the early stages of recovery.
I added one of these.

I mean, I thought it was funny.

I use M3 x 6mm long stainless set screws:
McMaster-Carr
I cut threads right into the wood and put a drop of thin CA on them.
What is the function of the CA here? You don't want to make the screw immovable, do you?I cut threads right into the wood and put a drop of thin CA on them
I wanted to use M3, but the smallest tap I could find was 4mm x 0.70 pitch.
So I picked up a few 4mm x 5mmL x 0.70 grub screws.
They are a little chubby but get the job done.
I will order a 2.5 and 3mm tap.
And yes, after the CA glue and after whatever finish is applied, I'll run the tap through one time.
