This is dumb - but somehow I can only find one model by Fender that is a P/J.
Am I missing something or is that it - just one?
If you go to the Fender Musical Instrument Corporation website, you SHOULD find more than just one. Ditto for other resources, such as a major music retailler.
What were you doing up at such a late hour to post that?
Actually I tried the search for "P/J" and "Special" and a few other buzzwords, but it didn't produce much.
I was then relegated to looking at all the thumbnails to see if any bass had the P/J p'ups on them and click to see a larger image. Very time consuming.
So I came here to the experts and they sent me some good info - and a lot faster and with a lot less eyestrain than I was getting the other way.
Sorry. I didn't mean to be crappy. I realize that it may be possible that I'm simply more familiar with Fender products and what is and isn't currently offered, enough to know the pickup config of the bass just by knowing the bass name.
