What's up with that Avatar?

Mine is one of my favorite chops that I did in this thread.

My inspired pose

My avatar was inspired by me having to wear a junp suit and a respirator to do wood working.

What is behind your avatar that is not obvious?
I was practicing and had one of our chicks on the desktop next to the keyboard. She really wanted to jump off and jumped right onto my neck. My wife snapped a picture. She stayed until I needed her to get off. She deadened the E string but it annoyed her so she moved her foot so that it was just on the neck.

My avatar is a detail shot of my favorite bass 1982 Carvin LB50 Koa bass, Taz is his name and he hates butterflies. That bass has been my main squeeze and accompanied me to nearly every gig all over the world on five continents.

I have often wondered about people's avatars, it is odd the impressions I get from some of them.

Mine is a pic of me, throwing the devil horns.
What's not obvious is this was originally a promo pic of my last band, with the guitarist to the left, and drummer to the right.

Shortly after this photoshoot, both the guitarist and drummer were out of the band and replaced by others (it's a long story).

I really liked the pic otherwise, so had my friend Photoshop them out of the picture.

My TB name is two fingers. The avatar is a hand holding up two fingers.

And the theme of the hand is 'cuz 'Merica! That's why!

No seriously. I'm a patriotic bastard to the core. That doesn't mean I hate any other country. I'm fact I love a lot about other countries and have been to several. I just really love mine.

My avatar represents three things:

1) I write and produce children's music, so I found this image when looking for appropriate images for my now-defunct website.
2) I'm very much influenced by "on the one" James Brown and P-Funk music.
3) I'm African-American, so the color of the hand suits me. Not a deal-maker or breaker; it just happened to fit.

Cool. Any music we might know as parents?
