what's with the 2x10 craze on TB?

I have just got in from rehearsing with my two 2x12s, they sounded great in our loud rock covers band this evening :D

It isn't a craze for me. I've been using n(2x10) rigs for 20 years or so, and I'll probably be using them 20 years from now - I find its a sound that works for me. I've tried 12s and 15s, even 18s, and have never been able to get the tone I want out of them. (Now, 8s, that's a different story...) My recent need to go lightweight has been helped with moving into a Neo 2x10 cab, but while I knew I could get even lighter with a nice 1x12, I just couldn't get one that sounded right to my ears. Anyway, always best to shop with your ears as opposed to following trends, regardless of what the trend might be.
