Yep, and Bro used to be the exclusive term of endearment for outlaw biker clubs when referring to their club brothers. These days it's the generic term for another human being. I saw a vid the other day of a girl who looked to be all of fifteen, and everyone she addressed was named Bro.

Honestly, I think the parts are there to make the claim.

I don't think it's necessarily the same as, say, selling culturally insensitive indigenous costumes for hallowe'en - but it wouldn't surprise me if folks used edgy outlaw culture to sell something to bored people... Heck how many folks get a harley just to feel like they're tapping into exactly that?

So I guess the answer is - yeah, probably.

A Goldwing is smooth enough you can balance a nickel on it’s edge on the fuel pump when It’s idling and if you keep clean oil in them and follow the recommended maintenance intervals 300K miles are not uncommon. When such a scooter is available, why would any random guy over 50 with no 2 wheeled experience take on a Harley other than they want to be Marlin Brando or Peter Fonda.

Having no motorbike experience, I couldn't tell you anything about that.

I'm aware that Harley's aren't anything special performance wise, but I think it's a style thing.
