Whats your fav onstage tuner?

Seem to be having just bad luck with both my Planet Waves CT-07 strobe tuner, as well as my Korg DT-4 chromatic. With fresh batteries they are, at best, unreliably erratic onstage when tuning to the open string or even 12th fret octave. And the low B is a disaster.
Looking for small (pedal or smaller), easy to read, and reliable. Thanks!

Racked Korg DTR-2000. So bright and easy to read no matter what. Has front inputs, too, so others can simply walk over and plug in to tune from it. If I didn't already own it I'd probably get whatever pedal tuner was around $50 used, a Pitchblack most likely as they're bright and easy to read. More than anything, on stage bright and easy to read is paramount.

trying to reap the benefits of this thread myself. I'm torn between a Boss TU-2, Pitchblack, Modtone and The GFS.

I'm on a budget. AMS has the TU-2 for $69, but a $40 GFS is tempting.

A good old Boss TU-2. The batteries last forever, it can take a pounding, and it just plain works. IMO pedal is the way to go over rack - you don't have to leave the front of the stage, and you can throw it into the signal chain before whatever DI the soundman gives you.

From what I have read and researched, if I could not afford the Turbo Tuner, I would buy the Pitchblack. They are fast and accurate, according to everyone here, and true bypass.

That being said, if you can save up the money, the Turbo Tuner, is more accurate. This would matter if you want to set your own intonation, or if you want to be as accurate as possible all of the time.
