For recording, rock gigs, I love my PB Deluxe. More modern dance music, or orchestral type stuff, I love my Warwick.

I'm not much of a hard core brand loyalist. And, not a fan of anything. I get what I want, and what suits my needs. That goes for everything from cars and cameras to music and instruments.

Devon, Roscoe, Ristola, Benavente, STR, and Warriors. I've had killer basses in all of them but Devon is the only bass I've ever had that is the complete package and was the perfect bass for me.

Is that from the guys that made barncasters? There's a lot of old barns around here, I've been meaning to go wood collecting.

Ron Kirn was one of the original barn wood luthiers. He made the "Barn Buster" line of guitars. Maybe that's who you're thinking of? Anyway, no, mine are made right here in my garage, and I don't sell them (yet!).
