Modded Hofner 500/1 CT and V62.

It's really close between Warwick (German made), Spector USA, MTD USA and Lakland (USA or the Skyline). All four of these manufactures make excellent quality instruments. I've never been disappointed by any of them - in any situation.

Well - when on stage, I heavily rely on Ernie Ball for my bass, Aguilar for my amplification and Bergantino for making the air move.
They have never let me down and I'm quite happy with the rig, so there you have it; EBMM, Aguilar and Bergantino for the various parts of the signal chain.

Which Bergantino cabs? I've been told a 610 would be perfect for my V6. Do you like the fact that it's a sealed cab? Is it the Ag 750/751?

You're like my brother from another mother, though my warmoths have not been particularly light

Graphite reinforcement, roasted maple necks, and bodies from their stock where they tell you the weight, or chambered bodies (my latest is chambered roasted alder, with a roasted swamp ash top) - if you pay attention to all the little details, and buy aluminum hardware (including neck attachment plates, knobs, etc), you can make Warmoths that are indeed very ight. My heaviest with all Warmoth wood is 7.5 pounds. Lightest is 6.25. OK, that's a medium scale, but still...

US Spector! When budget comes into play, I believe Schecter gives me great bang for the buck.
