Whats your favorite Guitar amp?

#1. Roccaforte- not sure of the model, but it was a one channel mini stack that had the best guitar tone I have ever heard in my life.
#2. Mesa Road King- Best non boutique amp I've ever played
#3. Framus Dragon- Only played it once, but it had some distortion that sounded like a blowtorch, in a really good way!

I don't need the volume so my rig consists of a 70 Princeton Reverb with a Reverend Alltone 10 and Trave Elliot Velocette with a Weber 10A100. A few pedals and an AB/Y switch. It's a pretty darned good rig.

I'll add an AC type amp in at some point...

An old guitarist has a Dr Z Z-28. 22 watt 4x10 combo with an outboard Fender Reverb Tank that sounds pretty darned good - and who knew that 22 watts could be that loud ?

Other guys I know ...
Vibrolux Reverb
Deluxe Reverb
Marshall 18 watt head on a 4x10

All nice sounding amps.

Local jazz guys are into AER - those are friggin' amazing but I suspect not the sort of amp this thread is about ...

Vibrolux blackface!

2x10s and 35 watts of heavenly joy.

On a side-note, someone GAVE one of these amps to my dad (along with a '65 Reverb Tank), simply because it "wasn't working" It's a '59 Tweed Vibrolux, complete with cigarette butt and empty pack of matches in the back :D (along with a '65 Reverb Tank)
