When did you first learn to hate ? for me it was most likely being on the receiving end of cruelty as a youth.
It probably had something to do with my older brother and the thrice daily beatings. That thing where he'd sit on my chest and pin my arms down and let a loogie hang out of his mouth until it inevitably ended up on my face may have contributed as well.
It's Sad But True.
I don't hate at all. I just ignore, or accept.

What I learned was not to hate. It's a counterproductive emotion and will solve no problems. Unfortunately, American English often seems to equate "hate" with "dislike", which is on another scale altogether.
