WHEN IS IT BEST TO USE BASS FUZZ?

I'm interested in buying a bass fuzz pedal because i have seen it used in various youtube videos and i like the sound, but i was wondering when i would use it to get the best out of it?

Whenever really. Play around and jam with it and figure out when you like it. I never really use for a specific part of a song, mainly for when I feel like just being sonically noticed in a jam.

But seriously though. My band has been changing, adding in a lot of Stoner/Doom to our already Post-Hardcore sound. Fuzz pretty much never gets turned off now.

Anytime you feel your bass is cutting through the mix of your loud rock band too much, apply bass fuzz and voila! you're part of the midrange mess.
