When spouses attack

Hey Govithoy, you make an interesting point. I guess it comes down to how important support for all your spouse's artistic endevours and dreams, and no matter how expensive that is, recognising the importance of the other's happiness and fulfillment.

My husband is a photographer with a darkroom and alot of gear, he was very happy for me to take up bass, cos at last I had an expensive hobby, too

Reminds me of the time when my wife cleaned the garage, so when I got home, I'm looking through the trash can, just in case. There I see the special tools that go with my radial arm saw. They had been laying right on the saw table. So I'm all, "What the hell are these doing in here?" And she's like, "Well, they looked a little rusty, so I thought you never used them."

So now we have a rule: If it's mine, and/or you don't know what it is, don't throw it away. So far, I've only had to reiterate it about a half-dozen times but, hey, not bad for 23 years of marriage, eh?
