When tattoos make you look ridiculous

I now hate tattoos.

Whatever, lol she's too skinny anyway, I like em with more meat on their bones, and its not like they havent had them, just watch Wanted.
I'm getting a bass clef on my right shoulder when I turn 18 and maybe a blank bass notation stave / tab on the inside of my left upper arm

nothing wrong w/ tats...personally I've always wanted one but never could commit to anything long enough to display on my skin for the rest of my life.
even music - when I was a kid, I was into hair bands and crazy guitars, college - synths, post college - ac rock and now I play bass mostly. I cringe at the thought of my blueburst dean flying Z being somewhere on my body . . .

Do you think this guy gets free food from those places in exchange for his "ink advertising"
In the spirit of this thread:
30 years ago tats = rebellion
Today tats = conformity
So now no tats = rebellion? What exactly are people conforming to when getting a tat that may hurt their chances of getting a conformist type white collar job?

IIRC, there was a bar somewhere in the USA (i think) that did just that. Have the company logo tattoo'd anywhere on your body and you drink and eat for free for the rest of your life.

But I was channel flipping and hit "Real World" on MTV. It was about this guy in his mid-20s that couldn't get a decent job because he had two full sleeves, full neck, and probably torso, though they didn't show that.
I didn't watch long enough to find out if he had a degree or not. If you have the skills that a company needs/wants they'll hire you no matter what.
But.
His fiancee was bugging him to get them removed because the only jobs he could get was burger-flipping or equivalent.
Take what you want from that, but it does happen.

^^ I don't get it. you (and I don't mean you personally) like society's ways when you want to go against them and get tats. but when you want to fit in all of a sudden they are bad and unfair. can't have it both ways . . .
He didn't say that, the tat he has can be covered easily, he was simply saying getting tats all over in hard to conceal places is ill advised unless you are in the tat industry or some such tat loving job. Otherwise, look forward to workin at warehouses and the like for the rest of your life. Thats my standpoint, I'm for tats, I have one, but no way am I ever getting one I cant cover up with a shirt and pants, lol.
THe bigger someone is, the more likely they are to get the job... Money talks. If she can draw more people than another without a tatto, she'll get the gig..

i choose B, only because probably half the people i work with have tattoos. i don't see a problem in getting tattoos that can be hidden simply by putting on pants or a short/long sleeve shirt which your suppose to wear in an office setting anyway. but if no one hires you based on the fact that you have visible tattoos, instead of looking at your qualifications...thats pretty discriminatory
