When the zombies come...

...Which bass in your collection would you use to defend yourself?

I just saw "28 Days Later" and started thinking about this. Also, If you could have any bass to kill braineating corpses, which bass would that be? (No, Gene Simmons' axe bass is out).

I would use a Rickencopy I have. It's small and therefore I can be agile with it. Also, it has sharp edges and lots of metal. It's not particularly heavy though, so I should be able to whack zombies all day long without tiring.

If I could have any bass for this purpose, I would get an extra longscale fiver probably. Keeps the undead just a bit further at bay.

So. How 'bout you?

28 days is a sweet movie and shawn of the dead and dawn of the dead ha

Yeah, I was thinking of a nice P too, just a nice and simple piece of good lumber. I am concerned about the bolt-on neckishness of it, though. I think I personally would rather have something neck-thru. Maybe that's not really that much more sturdy, but I would imagine it is.

And yeah, shawn of the dead is also a brilliant movie :P

yea the neck could be a problem personally i wouldnt mind getting a good first crack at there head first and busting the bodying and than using the neck like a bat totally grand theft auto style.

A musicman stingray would be killer big meaty necks and bodies with a 6 bolt neck

BC Rich Warlock.
It'll do double duty. Nice sharp pointy body for the swinging action, or just spear'em with the headstock.

OR ... any 80's Explorer bodied bass. Even better if it;s Mohagany.
