I'd do some some slight mods by sanding the bottom just sharp enough to slice open some zombie necks.
BTW, while we're on the subject, anyone see the trailer for the new movie "Zombieland"? If you haven't i suggest checking it out. Looks like gold to me.

To the TS, I'm really glad you've seen 28 Days Later. Danny Boyle is a genius, and it's an amazing film.

As for a bass..... probably my L2000. It's pretty heavy and dense, and it's built like a rock.

I'd use my G3. The body is so wide that there's no way you could miss, but it's also thin and aerodynamic so you could swing it sideways and do some real nasty blunt force trauma to a zombie.

guns are not a very good option in case of zombie attack. Odds are you will run out of ammo and then be defenseless. Along the same lines, Blunt objects such as bats/basses would also not be great because in order to kill the zombie (according to most sources I have seen) you must separate the head from the body. The best weapon IMO would be a well built sword (preferably a Japanese katana, but those may be hard to find) that can easily slice though the neck.

However, in the spirit of this thread i would go with an aluminum necked kramer and remove the body. leaving me with an aluminum club.
