When's the last time you cried unexpectedly?

It's rarely unexpected. I usually know the things that will trigger me. Stuff with my daughter as she approaches graduation. Animals being treated badly. When other people hurt, like at funerals. All cry times.

Unexpected that I can recall, probabaly when I heard that Neil Peart died. Someone I never met or knew, yet was a big part of my musical upbringing, especially in MS/HS when I was first learning bass and playing Rush. I couldn't believe I was that effected by him and the band. At least now I'm ready for Geddy and Alex.

I understand this. I little different but there are certain pieces of music that get me such as Samuel Barbers Adagio for Strings.

Aside from that I can get pretty emotional about animals. The first time I every cried in front of someone I didn't know well was when I went to have my cat put down. I was doing fine until they shaved his arm. To give a little context, my sister had passed away 4 months prior and I had not grieved or should I say had a proper cry. Seeing Sam get his arm shaved was like having someone pull a plug out of me. It all came out in the vet's office.

Oh my, brother I felt that one in my soul. Peace and blessings to you S
