I was 7 years old.......my older sister brought home the album in my avatar pic.......side A song 1...Knock Yourself Out.......I was changed forever!!

Got my Funk from TOP and Rocco Prestia

For me it was TOP Live and in Living Color, my older brother got this album. I was 9 years old, can't believe that was almost 40 years ago!

The best funking thing ever.

It's a scene from a British show called The Mighty Boosh, which is just wonderful.

On the real, though, this was the first funk-like bassline my first bass instructor taught me when i was a teen.

Great stuff. I liked the song writing talent they showed early on. And they only got better with each album. When I wouldn't have thought they could top the last one they did. Oh live just amazingly tight.
