Which 12" Speaker?

Also look at the cone excursion plot with 180 W input (what the Backline 600 supposedly puts out).

That's often a mixed blessing once one has the driver already </dry>. But then one can always console oneself that many other candidate drivers ALSO hit excursion limits way way WAY before a suitable signal at full RMS is applied, no matter what practical things you do with port tuning ; }*

* that's why so many of those Eminence cab designs mention both steep high pass filters and designs that are "displacement limited".

sounds quite good.

goes low enough, too. not exactly tons of top end, so i think i could not have gotten away with a delta 12lf which has even less. it also doesn't seem to be powerful enough to justify a separate am head. at least not yet. markbass 250 order is cancelled anyway for other considerations.

has anyone ever tried to put a 2512 into the MB combo? just curious.

used the deltalite DIY cab with the band today. powered by a 200w fender bxr head.

i mean the head was somewhat underpowered i thought, but it was okay.

the cab cuts trough really well and provides me with sensible low B response. no problem keeping up with drummer.

great value!
