Which arm for a flu shot?

Got my flu shot last friday and didn't feel any pain in my arm.
I take shot every year for last 10 years and it is something I forget 5 min after. Only for the first time I was in bed for 2 days, arm was fine, but I had a fever.

...somehow I don't think the question was "who didn't feel pain after the shot", nor did you say which arm...
That's like someone asking a question about something and getting a response of "I don't know"...worthless...nobody wants to know what you don't know...

I thought that poster didn't receive flu shot before and maybe he needed some information about how it feels.

I always get shots in my left arm. The rare time I've had real soreness, it didn't really impact my playing. The strap is far enough for the shot location it wasn't an issue, either.

I'm left-handed, so please read my recommendation against a mirror. If you're d'un certain âge you might be thinking of those nurses using knitting needles to inject semolina into you at school. The covid and 'flu vaccinations use very fine needles. I had my first 'flu jab last year in my fretting arm and had mild soreness for an hour or so (I did wake up sweat-soaked on that side when I fell asleep on a leather sofa that night). Had my 2nd one today and my right (fretting) arm is mildly stiffer than my left. My first Oxford-Astra Zeneca felt a bit sore in the muscle, the 2nd not at all.

It's a bit "which arm is best for metal needles", though. The needle itself is less a factor than your reaction. Mine and most people I know has been mild enough to not really care. If I had a gig, I'd pick my left arm because I mostly use a plectrum.

This morning, my arm is sorer than I remember it being the last five years I've had the shot...but maybe it's just that I'm getting older.

This morning, my arm is sorer than I remember it being the last five years I've had the shot...but maybe it's just that I'm getting older.

I also did fretting side and had some soreness, not really worse than I've had before. Today I was at my doctor's office for something else and she said "Let's do your COVID booster!" So that also went into the left arm as well, and we'll see how that works out.
