As for wishful thinking, the next bass I would like to order is one of these, in a fretless 5 with black hw and logo:

I'm good. I love the two basses I have and can't really see getting another one.
I've got a Peavey Franken-Fretless on the way! It's a B-90 body, with a fretless Foundation neck. Should be fun!!!
Probably won't buy anything for a while, but if/when I do, it'll have to be something completely different than what I already own. I'm thinking a custom headless design. Not sure what pickup config I'd go with though...I already have a HH and a P (and I'm not a J bass guy).
I am completely satisfied with my current bass and can't see myself ever letting it go. I would just want a second one of my current bass with slightly wider string spacing, or maybe make it fretless just because.
This one is on the way... out of my league, but who cares, now I have something to humiliate me into getting better. Willcox Lightwave USA Custom Saber 6 string fretted with walnut body and zebra wood top:
Those Delano's rock, as does everything else on that bass.
Glad to see you getting something locally made Andres. Many from south and Central America come here seeking advice about American made instruments. I tell them to look for luthiers from their own country/region.

I wish this one as my next bass, it's made by a local Luthier (from Buenos Aires, Argentina). Exactly like this one but 5-stringed and with EMG pickups

Something I can drop a pair of Nordstrand BigMan pickups into. Just because....
Saw a Wolf jb4, like the way they put em together, & for 400 bucks I think I ll give one a try, after all, who doesn't like a cheap bass? Hi dollar poopie doesn't make you a better player! Peace
So, I'm fully stocked with a P, a juicy J-style, active 5, and even a 6. And an extra Wild Thing (yes, Danelectro) for pure fun factor.
I'm considering going for one of the two main fretless options: electric standard-style or electric upright. I've had a number of gigs recently where the sort of crossovery sound of either/both would have been ideal...and while I know the upright would involve learning to play a whole new instrument, I've borrowed acoustic ones and gotten thru sets of simpler blues stuff without hurting myself. I could do it.
We shall see.
