Which bass are you getting next?

You can't go wrong with a stingray. My main bass is a SUB stingray 5, it's not a "true" Musicman but still has that MM tone that i dig so much.
I have two Musicman basses already - a Classic Sabre and an EBMM SUB. The SUB has the true StingRay pickup and 2-band preamp, so the StingRay sound is there, but I’m really GAS’ing for the full StingRay experience...:)

I am really not looking for another bass as I absolutely love the one I have now. However, I might consider a Dingwall Lee Sklar signature model if I was looking for a new bass. I have a friend who loves that fan-shape neck - says it is super easy and comfortable to play. I'd certainly need to play one first because I am very particular about the neck on a bass, but I would consider this one:

Technically not a bass- A Squier Vintage Modified Baritone Jazzmaster.

It's 30" scale, so I can get some Bass VI action on the go and sidestep the dodgy bridge. Can't decide whether or not I'd rather go for the older Antigua Burst ones or not...

Apart from that, I've been thinking a regular shortscale, or maybe some form of Precision (although with a Jazz neck). Man, I'm going to be poor.

I would love to find a 5 string that I love playing as much as my 4 string American Standard jazz. that bass just has something. I think its familiarity. I've decided if I don't need a 5 string to just always bring my fender. I'd like a well built, custom jazz bass for my pit gigs like a Sadowksy. I think the guys at sadowsky are great, I just want to make sure they can build my last bass. 5 string jazz with some of my specs. My metro isn't really there.

I'll stick with the 3 electrics that I have though (Sire fretless 5 string, fender american 4 string jazz bass, sadowsky metro 24 frett 5 string). What I really need is another amp.

If not a custom 5 string, I'll probably save up to buy another carved upright bass. But thats getting up to the $3000-$10,000 range.

Duff McKagan Pbass! I'm going to refinish the body in black gloss to match the neck and put a tortoise shell pickguard and possibly put a different pickup in the bridge position other than the Jazz pickup. Or, since I got such a great deal on it in Canadian dollars I might flip it to an American buyer for a very reasonable price.....;)
Edit: I forgot to add that I've had it on layaway for quite some time and its almost paid off, and that I might add a Klein Epic Series 59' Precision bass pickup to replace the stock pickup. Although I must admit that the stock pick up sounds great!
