I vote for the Low end- Brian Barrett is one of the best in the business, with amazing basses, plus his customer service is incredible- he goes above and beyond to help his customers.
The Lull. Hands down.
The Low End bass looks clunky, and will be a bitch to sell due to it's being a no-name brand. And the Asian-made Sadowsky? Distand 3rd. No way would I buy one new.

It's actually the worst when it comes to resale. He's intending to buy it new. Which means he'll take a huge hit when he tries to sell it.

I have a question though (I didn't realize it at the time of my original post.) Am I understanding correctly that this is an asian built Sadowsky, not built in NY by Roger?
If that is the case, why is the cost so high on an ASIAN built Sadowsky? I am serious when I say, anything I spend over $1,000.00 US ought to be made in the U.S. Just my opinion.
The Sadowsky Metro is made in Asia. Absolutely not built in NY. The price is high because of the name on the headstock.
+1 on your "anything I purchase over $1,000 ought to be built in the US". Although there are a couple of European companies I would consider in that price range. But made in Asia - no way would I spend that kind of money.

The Sadowsky Metros are made in Japan. If possible hold out for a Sadowsky NYC or go for the Lull T-Bird.
I suggest the OP re-evaluate each bass by re-sale value as well. That in itself may be a decision maker.
As to SMCD's comment. I am inclined to agree unless it's a Fender MIJ. I have a soft spot for those. They are well made and still don't cost as much as the basses the OP is considering.
European basses are usually high end, so those hold their value quite well.
This changes everything. OP, abandon your list and lurk through the classifieds here... with that budget you'll find a killer instrument in no time.

The Sadowsky Ive read about too many problems with them that override the reputation, the reputation which drives the reason many here are picking it. Its just a jazz copy, a low-end Sadowsky at that, its not anything special, and theyre overpriced. Id get a MIA Fender first.
Dont know much about Lull, but its just a t-bird copy, I think theyre ugly, and not well-designed basses from the start.
The LowEnd is gorgeous, but too many knobs and switched for my taste. But if like the OP I already had a few high-end players and I wanted something sweet/different, thats what Id get if I had to choose between the three.

I'm just hoping that you're kidding about making your selection based on a TB survey! Figure out which one YOU like best and go with it. Don't listen to us. (But if you do, I'd go with the Lull...)
