Why limit, yourself. It is a Power Trio, right?

Well if the OP had a Pbass with decals ,stickers , mods , or relic I might have thought of those bands . But based upon what he had in his arsenal ..... that black Stingray stood out and shouted Red Hot Chili Peppers. Not Greenday or Blink-182?
Simple....Take the Jazz.I’m meeting up with some guys for a jam on Thursday (socially distanced, of course) and am wondering which bass would be the best to take. It’s a power trio that does more 90s and 00s pop rock and pop punk. What you think?

On an unrelated note: Where does one get such a Paisley pickguard? I have been looking but cannot seem to find that particular flavor.
Either one of these guys is a giant or the others are midgets.Looks like your going to need a couple of pickups before you will be properly equipped for a power trio. And don't forget the vest with no shirt rule.

The answer depends on the other players. Is this a jam where you’re encouraged to fill up space, or does the guitarist see that as his or her role?
The P works well if you’re expected to stay in your lane; the others are better if you need to fill more space.
