Which FENDER P to buy?

From your intro, you don't care about play-ability, sound, value, or anything musical. In that case just let some non-musician pick whichever one looks good with whatever outfit you wear most often, or if you have a bad back or something just pick the lightest one. Everything you've listed is 99% the same with the exception of production variances and color options.
Exactly. I think this is one of the many posts just like this that seem to occur constantly on talk bass these days. "I want your opinions, but I don't give a crap about your opinions." I'm sure I'm going to regret accidentally subscribing to this post by making this comment
I have a AmPro 5 that is great stock. The B string plays just fine. I tend to prefer active pickups for my current gig, though.
A used MIJ or Custom Shop would be my choice. But that already shows that, in principle, it doesn't really matter as long as the basic quality is good. Just get the one you like best. The differences are there, but marginal. You can hardly hear any difference in a band mix. At least not significant enough to justify these huge price differences. Fender is great at marketing. If you can avoid that, life is easier. You can endlessly debate tiny differences in pickups or bridges, or which wood is better. Ultimately, though, you could spend that time playing.
I have no idea how you came to that conclusion, it is ridiculous and really not worthy of a response, but alas, here we are. Reading is fundamental, comprehension is lost on most.

Last sentence, no indication of preference for neck profile, pickup, or anything else related to actually playing it. Leaving it stock is fine but given the above there is no indication that OP wants to actually play the thing.
It is totally fine that there is a huge p bass cult here at talkbass, but this just reads like a circle jerk. I'll do my best to avoid your meetings in the future.

I see , I think maybe because alot of people recommend cheap pbass copies because theyre better at half price or less etc, or others recommend expensive pbass copies when others ask opinions on fenders because theyre made by magic painters or or hand carved by virgins, thats all possibly just wanted to avoid all of that, thats what I got from the post
Ha - I stopped short of mentioning the Vintera because I haven't played one..
BUT - I just assembled a Jazz Bass with a Vintera roasted maple P neck!! (I thought I was the only one...)
Agreed on the neck - nice vintage spec - plays great - I love it! and the bass turned out fantastic.
He wants a Fender, lots of folks seem to hate Fenders and he’s not looking for your suggestion of a bass you think is better, what’s so hard about that?
Fair, and I admittedly responded in a cranky way. The crux of my concern is that a P bass can be had with a thick 1 3/4 neck or a slim 42mm, with heavy or light tuners. The neck feel is 75% of what makes P basses different. The part about being bone stock makes me think it’s just wall art or something because the REAL challenge with finding the right p bass is to get the combination of finish, NECK, and parts that work for a player. Some folk like a HIMass bridge, or prefer bend plate. Bridge saddles of threads? Is there a particulat EQ profile wanted from the pickup? These are many of the relevant differentiators, but OP has not indicated preferences about this in the poll. Instead this just seems like an invitation for the P bass fan club to opine.
Most importantly of all, for a poll that’s hard to take seriously…. No Carrots. Everyone here knows a poll like this needs Carrots.

I voted vintera 2 rw I guess they’re like 1500 new , if you can score a used cs for 2-3k it’s tough I’m not sure which tort pgs I like less between the 2 the caveat about keeping it factory makes it really tough
