Which is your favorite P Bass?

They're all nice. Definitly the 58 and not just for the year. I had a maple neck 59 and it was by far the nicest playing and sounding, and light. There's a 62 and a 63 in the pic and it blew them away. Back in the day, I had a professional player come by who played for a country singer, he wanted a 60's p-bass and I offered him both those basses for 1950.00...he refused.

My daughter is current custodian of the 1965 on the left.
I like the 1964 on the right, if I have to play a Precision...
Both were bought at Chris' Guitars in Los Angeles back in the mid/late 1980s. I'm sure I still have the original sales-receipts in the cases, because I'm a receipt kind of guy.

Last of the maple necks. 58 & 59 are the best years. When I ordered mine I was hoping for a bit of a v-neck like my 56. The 59 was a wide thin neck but was almost perfect.
I saw an ad that Jason Newstead was giving away or selling a 66 p-bass with the exact same wear as yours from obviously playing with a pick. I know it's probably not the same bass ..but that's weird.
A bit more modern take, with excellent results. Dingwall Super P, fretless. And no, the neck isn't twisted, just fanned.

I bought some basses there too in the late 80's. I just went through some of their old monthly stock flyers. I still have them. When you guys see these prices you would faint.One list I have they are selling one of the 2 Fender jazz bass prototypes with the big jazzmaster looking pickups. For 5 grand. My jaw dropped, I don't know how I missed that one. I'll try to scan it. They always had tonnes of stock, I don't know where it all is now. Also guitar broker in Fla.
Sometimes that 57 2-tone can look like 3.Lots of nice P Basses, but only one "real" one so far.
Here's my favourites that I own. 69 Tele and a 56 P.

73 P and 82 Fullerton 57 RI - seriously good basses both!

Honestly, the best P Bass tone I get is from this old girl- 77 Greco Single Pickup T Bird. Like a P on steroids.
I have been wondering what happened to that bass. Never hear about it. That's SRV's #1 of basses.This one...
