Assuming we're talking purely aesthetics, since no one but you can put it in our hands and make an accurate determination of effect on playability or tone...

I think they're both flat freakin' gorgeous. I am a sucker for bound and blocked, but that finish and the rosewood really compliment each other.

Good luck with your decision! I don't think you can go wrong either way. You're going to end up with a nice bass, great choices.
 
I voted rosewood because I like contrast between the fingerboard and the body.

I have 3 maple fretboard basses and two are black bodies with maple fretboards. I love black with maple. That being said I think I like the contrast between the two on a bass.

If it was a darker body I'd probably say the maple. Lighter the body I like the darker fingerboard.
