Recently I did a hand staining job on my Precision Bass. Although it was not the color I expected, I really liked the result.

I put a white pickguard on the bass, but I think it could look even better with another one!

So... which other pickguard would look better on my hand stained Precision Bass?

When in doubt go with black it matches with every/anything! Black!

I really like white (and I REALLY like how the body stain turned out)
But if you want something a bit more toned down I would go with tort or brown tort.

Yeah exactly, white or black will stand too much out and draw attention away from the awesome grain. A warmer color tone like gold anodized or cream would blend in more.

i typically vote black black black black because i like it (and for fun!), but i'm thinking the suggestion of a black pg with black hardware really is a stellar choice ( BradH 's post).

OP: love the work you did --- forget the naysayers! --- a truly unique/beautiful piece! good luck with your pg choices!
