A deep purpleHi bass mates!
Recently I did a hand staining job on my Precision Bass. Although it was not the color I expected, I really liked the result.

I put a white pickguard on the bass, but I think it could look even better with another one!

So... which other pickguard would look better on my hand stained Precision Bass?
BLACK dag nabbit!! Your bass reminds of one built by Hammersmith for Remco Hendrix. Check out this video:
Stay away from dark/rich colors - the stain is rich enough.
How about a clear pickgaurd. I have one on my stingray and I think it looks pretty good. It would help to show off the wood grain of your bass.
What is the neck fretboard? Maple, Rosewood? If maple Go with black/wht/blk and black hardware...it would look sweet.....just my 1-1/2 cents
That's nice. Have you considered grey pearl?
Ooh what a nice colour - I love that you can still see the grain. Cream or black would look very classy.Hi bass mates!

Nice! Works for me but I do prefer black though.
