It totally depends on the tone I need/want at the moment. Usually, I am panned somewhere between them with a slight bias towards the bridge. I can then vary the tone and attack a lot by moving my right hand. Occasionally I will play with a pickup soloed, but not very often.

I heart these threads. As if all basses have two pickups and there's only two choices: play over pup 1 or pup 2.
Eventually, you'll find out that there's on infinite world of tones to be found between the neck and bridge once you consider things (including hand positions) like:
* String choice/tension/gauge (flats, rounds, half-rounds, tapewounds, etc.)
* Amp and amp settings (tube, solid state, gain, eq contours, etc.)
* Bass tone settings (from mud to bright, etc.)
* Pup type and volume (passive, active, etc.)
* Finger technique (fingers, thumb, slapping, popping, etc.)
* Pick choice (nylon, tortex, felt, wood, leather, etc.)
* etc. etc. etc.
Sorry if this sounds condescending, it's just that there's no way to limit the question.

Neck pickup always.
When i use the bridge it sounds like a...**shivers**...guitar...
Mostly because the bridge is wayyy to trebly, and has no bottom end whatsoever.

on my thumb I usually have it centered but lately I've been soloing the neck pickup, which I guess for a warwick thumb is in about the same spot as a stingray/ect's single humbucker location.. ie the sweet spot so I hear. Either way its great, still all the power and articulation but warm and far more... traditional.
On the Neck Pickup for Metal. Above the Neck Pickup for Funk (I play it on the fret board). Bridge for melodic stuff. Between both with both turned on for rolling bass lines and blue type stuff. My Modified SR800 has separate volume controls for each PUP 
I move my hand around based on the tone that I want, anywhere from back by the bridge to right over the neck, and occasionally back off on the volume of one or the other pickup.
I recently bought the same bass, how do you like it? I'm an amatuer and this one I like. First one I got was Hamer, hated it just like the second one, a Yamaha which had this horrible flexible neck. This Ibanez makes me want to practise.
I play all over on my basses depending on the tone i want, and which bass i'm playing, anywhere from on the frets to the bridge. I dont limit myself to one or two posistions.
