Standard Precision for me! :cool:

Although I do like the tones available from the single coils, and I tip my hat to Leo's original design, but I don't like the potential for humming (one of the reasons I sold my Ric 4003).

And the Precision split pickup seem to have a bit more huevos, at least to my ears.

My standard Precision is my main squeeze: I love having ONE BASS that can do it all, and do it so easily. A bass that sounds so gooooood, looks gorgeous on stage, nails THAT TONE in the studio, won't fall apart when I'm playing a freezing winter gig or swelter summer festival gig, and that I don't have to hire a private security firm to guard when I'm not around. :hyper:
