Has anyone tried Dimarzio Js in a Geddy Lee jazz? I have a set coming for mine and I want to know what you all think.

seriousely Wood you picked out the best sounding Jazz bass I ever had or heard! It wieghs in at around 12 and a 1/2 pounds but once you plug it in it feels 7 lbs Iplay's incredible and sings, THe rear pickup tone is nasty!!

I've got one of these babies as well love it more than any other guitar I've owned. The tone is always there, the playablity (is there such a word?) is out of this world. I've picked up Musicman, Yam's anything that hangs on the store wall and I always think to myself my Jazz feels better or is lighter or faster. I've only found one guitar that made me think well mabey and that was a Dingwall a little out of my reach now but sometime I will.

my 75 jazz.
I prefer maple boards over rosewood but rosewood will work too. I have three other jazzes with rosewood, but IMO the Jazz bass has a better tone with maple..
