Who has cool neighbors?

My neighbors are super cool. I asked them all about rehearsals before I ever had one. They give feedback on new material and sometimes come to shows.
I live on an old 1800's Pecan plantation. The only neighbors I've met are the armadillos, gator, feral hogs, and UPS guy.
I'm surrounded by neighbours but most of them play an instrument or have kids that do, you can't throw a stone without hitting another musician.
A few years ago the band I was in rehearsed at my house. There was one neighbour who would stand outside and listen. He complained when we moved our rehearsal venue to he drummer' house.

mine are ok one side the son plays guitar and the other side has bikes. i have bass and bikes in the middle. 
the houses are very small but we all do our own thing and no one gets upset

Mine are far away. That makes them the best neighbors ever, in my opinion.
When we moved in to our house in 87, I set about building a studio/rehearsal space in an old man cave/poolroom off our garage.
One wall of the room was only about 15 feet from the neighbors bedrooms.
I spent alot of time and money building a false wall inside and insulated the hell out of everything anticipating problems.
A few weeks after finishing everything I bump in to my new neighbor outside and says " Hey!..how come we can't hear you guys play anymore ".
I explain to length I went to to keep from disturbing them, and just frowns and says.... " We were enjoying the music!".
One wall of the room was only about 15 feet from the neighbors bedrooms.

The guy in the apartment above mine plays guitar and sometimes we jam together during this pandemic, each one from their own apt! We had the drummer who lives across the street join in the other day on some AC/DC
The rest of the neighbors are very cool as well, nobody has complained so far!

My neighbors next door are great. We have cocktails in the yard or porch when we can get together. Their son plays sax all the time and we can hear it so it doesn't bother them if I turn up once in a while.
But the Best...she writes a beer blog and brewers and distillers send her samples all the time. So almost every Friday around noon there's a knock on the door and she leaves a chilled sample to get my opinion. I can't recall the last time I worked in the back yard without a beer being handed over the fence in either direction.

My band had stopped rehearsing due to COVID. I wanted to get together and suggested we use my patio, thought being that outside would be safe enough. We ended up having about 20 or 30 people drop by to listen for a while. No noise complaints, not even on the neighborhood FB page, a notoriously contentious site. In fact, a number of people have stopped me to ask when we'd do it again, and a few have suggested we do it every weekend. So I'm going to say I have cool neighbors. I'd like to get the guy down the street who plays bagpipes to sit in with us on Thunderstruck.
Our duo stopped rehearsal due to covid but today the guitarist contacted me and mentioned he'd be up for a rehearsal at my house outside on the front porch instead of inside. It's supposed to happen next week so I guess I'll find out then if my neighbors are cool.

We play fairly loud in my basement. I've cranked music through the PA and gone outside. The cool neighbors on the left could hear it if they were outside, but it isn't loud. We've never had a complaint, and we always stop by 9 or 9:30.
I'm tempted to set up the band in the back yard and see what happens. Pretty good chance people would stop by. Maybe we oughtta set up on the front porch

I live outside of Richmond in a subdivision centered on a 1 acre lot. When I’m practicing, I’m in a 10x12 room and and when turned up to reasonable level, from the outside it sounds like a normal stereo at it’s loudest.
That said, on occasion I need to debug my concert rig, which is done in my garage and that is noticeable for blocks, but only for 10 minutes mid day or less once or twice a year.
