The Octagon, James Westerfall and Dr. Kenneth Noisewater. If you ladies play your cards right, you might get to meet the whole gang.

Scar jo, because she's cheap, red and sexy. Friend named her, wife hates new name. Lol
Elwood. Because he's bluesy.
Cecilia, My wife named her. I like it, classy, vintage even if the song had no bass in it at all.
And finally the Bully. Made for my love of Leo fender and the Philadelphia Flyers. It's my first build, mean and full of growl. Plus it's bead. If there was a perfect bass for metal this might be it.

No naming basses for me,I did name one once & I had to sell it and it hurt.so no names so as not to get to attached,just like my wife I just refer to her as hole one two or three depending on what I want at that moment.
I've only named one of my current stable.
I modded a Dillion SCPB that had a really weak pickup. I routed it for dual humbuckers in the same spot as a T-bird. I love the T-bird sound but a bad back prevents me from playing them. So I modded a P-bass. I call it the ThunderPea.

I have four basses and I only named two.
The first one is my first new instrument I ever bought and I call it Christine. Because she never leaves the house and has a very protective father ie. Me.
The second one is a used bass I bought recently. After looking two and a half years I drove my self crazy trying to buy a cowpoke and I did. So I named him Pokey.

My first one was called harry after the bloke who have it to me. My jazz is just the jazz. My thunderbird is the beast (not very original but very accurate!).
I don't, but I bought an El Toro last year from a guy who named it Vernon Hardapple. I have kept the name, but all my others remain nameless.
I used to name everything. No idea why, other than the push to be weird or funny or something. But I stopped. Until it hit me last night that my Jazz has a persona ... After 17 years, I finally named it. I present, Lamar.
The VI is still waiting for a name (Nikki? Too obvious ...). I'm thinking of calling it Max--after Max Fischer from Rushmore, since I'm really good at starting songs with it ... finishing them, though ...
My franken-Fenders are not complete enough for names other than Franken-P, Franken-J.

I name mine after Queens and Kings.
My first EBMM Sterling is Victoria I, my second is Elizabeth II.
Fender 62' AVRI is Presley and my 57' AVRI will be named Jackson.
My Gibson SG was Latifa and my Breedlove acoustic is Harold.

I have three basses. They are named, "Bassy," "Bassy," and "Bassy." I just named them RIGHT NOW. I don't know how I'm going to tell them apart, except I will remember that "Bassy" is that bass, and "Bassy" is that bass, and "Bassy" is that other bass.
