Who here names their bass?

my FSR jazz is named L'Via after the song L'Via L'Viaquez. I thought it sounded mysterious and exotic so thats what i ended up naming her!

I only named my three main players; Sylvia, Cynthia and Sonya. No particular reason, the names came to me while playing them.

I guess what it all comes down to is how much connection you have with the instrument, how often you play it, ect. To give it a name.

Why. People name boats, cars, guns and some of the most famous musicians have named their instruments. Seems harmless at best.
