Who makes a 5 string TELE bass?

In that case, G and L did make it, but they're super rare. You can get a telecaster shaped bass body from warmoth or /www.usacustomguitars.com, and that would be your best bet.

Back in the 90s Schecter made a Tele-shaped bass called the Baron with a big MM style humbucker. I'm guessing most Tele-shaped basses are gonna neck dive like crazy.

Considering the neck dive I wouldn't blame them. You'd have to have lead drilled into the body to keep it in the correct position.

Best bet is to A) build your own or b) have someone make it for you.

you know I actually checked warmoth and they do offer the tele body, question is, will they make a routing for a 5 string neck...
