Who would do this to a poor Lakland?

Meh. Don't get so emotional. It is just a hunk of wood, a little bit of metal, and some wire. It's not the Holy Grail. It's not as though the world has lost one of the great art and engineering accomplishments of our time. It is a bass that got trashed. So what. Can somebody explain what the big deal is?

I'm right there with you. Basses get beat up sometimes.

It's been played hard.

Has anyone checked out the Sting NS-2 thread?
He did that to a bass in one tour! And he had a tech to take care of it.
