This ^^ is what I'm talking about. Guy found himself shut out of a chance on buying the bass, so - out of spite - he tells the seller what the book value is. And the only reason he did it was to queer the deal for the guy who was in line to buy it. Were he first in line, he'd NEVER tell the seller the actual value. It's the old "If I can't have it, you can't either" attitude. And in an example of taking it to an even lower level, he calls some guy he doesn't even know an "a$$hat".
What the hell is wrong with people?
Just had the same feeling. Why would someone do that? And then brag about it to boot.
