Who's got Halo 2?

If you don't play XBox Live, you haven't even TOUCHED the real potential of the game play is was designed to be.

Which says something about why they made the game in the first place. Was it to finish the storyline, or to make a good multiplayer game? Why not do both. HALO2 single player, with more gameplay and better story, and HALO2 Live, with no singal person game.

All campaign games have a lifespan. Therefore, common thought is to make the life span, where it will truly live as good as it can be.

Gamertag: McHack

I've got a couple of a friendslist slots open...

McHack and boltthrower--clan invites sent. We've got about 38 people in five days..not bad! If you accept the invite (and everybody should be in SOME clan, since it's fun to be in one and you can change at any time) be sure to change your emblem to a number two....that's the name of the clan--Guerilla Unit 2

Well, I timed it. HALO on normal setting took me 4 hours and 22 minutes to finish. HALO 2 took me 3 hours 15 minutes.

I was right. Less gameplay, more cinematics. Stupid engineers.

Reviews I've read said that in Halo2, Normal difficulty is easier than Halo1 whereas Heroic and Legendary are both much harder. I haven't tried Legendary or Normal, but I agree about Heroic.

If you're a hardcore gamer, not sure why you're even messing with Normal difficulty anyway. Get your money's worth out of the game! :D

Word up. I don't think I'll ever go back to playing the solo campaign. XBOX live, with an active clan, is the most fun I've ever had with a video game.

I accepted the invite over the weekend but haven't done the clan thing before. Can you give an overview of what's required? 30-plus members but a max of 8 are needed for a single game, so, are there intra-clan ladder matches or something?

Cool--glad you're on board! McHack and I were in a team slayer match earlier today. Good stuff.

I guess every clan is different, but this one is a group of middle-of-the-road players who are just looking to have a good time. When you log in, you can take a look down the roster of people who are on Live at that moment playing clan-based matches. If any of those games are joinable, you can just jump in. Alternatively, you can create a new game with any rules, etc. and invite other clan pals to join you.

Major clan matches are 7-8 people. Minor matches are 3-4. So you don't have to find that many people to play. Just a couple are enough. And if you want to work on training/strategy you can get two guys and go to a level with just you, work out something, and then go play that level against some other clan.

At the end of the day, it's not THAT much different than tossing yourself into a matchmaking game, except that you're with guys you've played with before and you can build on past successes. Guerilla Unit 2 will have a website up in the next couple of days, too, which should be very cool.

Hey my gamer tag is AceT123 so give me a clan invite later. I love it online and am pretty good, so hopefully i'll be an asset to the clan and i'll make sure to invite all the gamer tags i've found on this thread to be my friends.. OH isn't that cute?!

As for the single player, i'm loving it so far. I really can't ask for much more, the environments are huge and the AI is an excellent advantage, i'm having fun.

i recently plowed through on heroic with a friend, we both agreed its the most fun difficulty. i believe the legendary on halo2 is just ridiculous. instead of smarter enemies they just have more powerful guns and it takes more to kill them... thats not fun, thats just lame. i was hoping legendary would be hard because the enemies would be smarter, which is not how it is. heroic however, is a nice blend of fun and difficulty.

i will probably be getting an xbox and halo 2 (with xbox live) in january. hope to see you guys online!

My gamertag for the next few weeks is Vhang0 [zero]. I bougth my X-box [including Halo 2 collectors edition] for $150 and i got what's left of his X-box Live subscription. I think i'm good till like Jan 10th...so with the next few paychecks-i'll register my own gamertag-i'll put it in this thread when i do. I think imma go for that $70 dollar deal where you get crimson skies, the head set, and a subscription.

My thoughts on Halo 2-i really really suck at this game. In 1 player-i get frustrated as i can't figure out where the enemies are [humor me-i play on easy]. On X-box Live-i dig the game. I play mainly big team battles where i can well-draw attention to my self while the others get the flag, or where i can get in the big vehicles and raise some hell. :)

The catch....i'm connected through our DSL modem for Live-so whenever i want to play live, i have to disconnect our CPU. I tried using our cheapie router-but can't qutie get it to work.

That's all

Ok-just activated a year long subscription today, and as promised here's my gamer tag. bassman cam . I suck at Halo 2 [am a level 3] but i dig it. that's all
