Who's trying to lose weight this year??

More progress :)
It's been a bit over three months since starting my low-carb/exercise/lifestyle change, and I've lost 68lbs so far. None of my clothes fit anymore... What used to be a t-shirt on me resembles a muumuu.
Haven't been exercising properly this last week though... pretty sure I tore a muscle or something.

Started the last week of February at 361 weighed in today at 284. 87lbs in ~140 days. Score!

Also started lifting in the past 3 months. And all my lifts have gone up while my weight has been dropping.

Deadlift 225->405 5x3
Squat 135->315 5x3
Front Squat 120->225
Bench 95->195 5x3
Power Clean 65->155
Press 75->135 5x3

Dropped over 40 pounds in the past 1.5 years, was once size 46, now down to size 40! I did NOT do any crazy extreme diets or any of that nonsense that could put you in the hospital. Simply altered my eating choices and habits gradually, drank more water, took vitamins, got more physically active (lots of hiking, ballroom dancing too, some biking too), plus having a great girlfriend who really encouraged me on many fronts.

In 5 months now I have dropped around 75-80 pounds. I was doing it the wrong way at first even though the weight was flying off. The past month I have been following a custom plan by a nutritionist here in town. She is also a competitive bodybuilder with a degree in sports medicine/nutrition. Super happy with my progress,

Hello all, sorry I'm late to the party. Just got off the scale, 257. I want to get down to 200 even, see where that puts me. I've been lifting regularly since late January, along with less than regular hikes and such. I've been trying to eat better, but it's time I got serious. I just downloaded the LoseIt app, and I'm going to do alternating days of lifting and aerobic exercise (hiking, swimming, power walking, etc). I'm going to get to 200 before year's end. I was 180 my senior year of high school (4 years ago), and looking at pictures of myself from back then is really motivating me to get the weight off.

Doesn't seem like much but I've gone from 173lbs down to 162lbs. I wasn't fat by any real means, but I definitely was huffing around more fat than necessary. It was actually hard to lose the weight since I already ate decently well and because I worked out regularly. The trick was cutting back on alcohol and slimming down my portion sizes just a little bit.

I'd love to lose weight. I got down to 170 (from 235) three years ago. I did it as a result of stress at work, and wasn't eating regularly (money was tight). I lost 5 to 10 pounds per week. Not healthy.

Would love to get back to 170 again, in a healthy way this time. Still hammering out the details.

The blood type "diet" has worked wonders for me.

I knew I had food allergies but through the blood type diet I found that certain foods were causing me to retain weight as well as be very bloated.

It's not the easiest thing in the world but I've lost 40 lbs. without any exercise whatsoever. Now that I've started exercising I've trimmed out a bit more.

There's no need to buy any materials as everything you need is on the webpage.

Basically the study showed that certain foods effect the blood, and therefore the person, differently depending on which blood type you're.

This link is to a list of foods. Once you click on the food you can see which foods should be avoided, which are neutral (act as food), and which are beneficial.

I have asked several people of varying blood types about foods that are listed as "avoids" and how they effect them. The list has proven to be very reliable.

Again, it's not easy to give up certain foods but it's been well worth it for me and my family.

Sorry for the long post.

After some months of indulgence I'm back on the weight-loss wagon, anybody here still using Lostit?

My weight this morning 176; objective: a six pack :ninja: (my guess is that will happen around 160-165 pounds)
