There are tons of bassists I really like, but I definitely enjoy bassists most when they're contributing to music I enjoy listening to (which is why I don't spend much time listening to "YouTube bassists"). If I was pressed to name a favourite it would probably be a tossup between Mark King and Meshell Ndegeocello - partly because they've been such big influences for me for as long as they have been.
