But that's the thing, I'm not a session player nor are most of us on TB. If I depended on music to put food on the table and a P bass would help do that then I absolutely would play one. But when this "everyone needs a P bass" business extends to us hobbyists that's when I think it gets a bit silly.
I guess you forgot the whole point of the video where they're talking about...(wait for it)...session players. Kind of a key point to the discussion.
