Why Mark Hoppus should not be bashed

I agree. I am not saying that Mark Hoppus is a Bass God or anything like that. What I am saying, is that he is doing what the song calls for in most cases. His basslines are not technical, and are not as fun to listen to as bassists like Vic Wooten, Flea, Les Claypool, John Turner (I finally downloaded that mp3, JT, and all I gotta say is "WOW"), BUT, they do fit into the songs that Blink 182 plays. And I believe I have heard a lot of you say, and I agree, that "sometimes less is more".

So if it calls for Mark to pound out nothing but roots all night long, so be it. He got where a lot of us would like to be doing it (rich and famous, that is).
